Oh , what`s that nice smell?

Wish you could smell these candles, they are so yummy!
My fave is Champagne- blackcurrant and tomato. They are made from organic soya wax and essential oils . They burn for 50 hours!
Lovely summer colours too.

Let me out!!

Iv not been well,so sorry no posts. So I'm desperate to get outside and do the garden. Watering seems to take up most of my time. We need rain !!
Lots of flowers to pick now.

Fresh pickings....

Phlox `clouds of perfume` As the name suggests a truly wonderful scent.
Cerinthe major Purpurascens -best when sown in the Autumn , but the harsh winter killed a lot of seedlings . Stunning colours ,lasts well in a vase.

Viburnum opulus- We have a huge bush in the garden . I love the fresh green pom poms.

You are a hardcore gardener when - a) Have a tan by April as you have been outside so much. (that`s with factor 30 sunblock on)
b) Cannot get your fingers clean , with all the scrubbing in the world not gonna shift from the cracks!
c) The birds wake you up and your itching to get out the door
d) Dinner time gets later and later . You only come inside when begged by the children to cook some grub.
e) You go to be aching but sleep like a baby

Weekend away-Norfolk, seeing friends

Auricula day at West Acre walled Garden .
Very peaceful garden and good nursery

Conservatories full of scented Geraniums and old roses

So sweetly scented .

East Ruston old Vicarage in Norfolk .

A unique garden divided into many rooms.

I liked the tropical feel to the courtyard, sheltered from the strong winds

Very bracing, by the sea!
