Festive Flowers have started...

A very bizarre week....

 I had a delivery last week, building materials.. I didn't expect an exotic bird to be in the driver's cab!!!

You never know what is going to happen each day!!
I also went to see a brilliant band, 'Public Service Broadcasting' in Cambridge.
Poppy and I went to see 'The Drowned Man, A Hollywood fable' by the amazing 'Punchdrunk"www.punchdrunk.com
We had to wear masks, it was one of the most bizarre but one of the most amazing experiences. I want to go again!! Everyone has a totally different experience. I loved the set, it was like a huge art installation,with an immense attention to detail. I was blown away!! Winter  improves greatly by venturing out to new experiences.

A bit of colour does brighten up a rather dull day!!

Stags are everywhere but I do love them!

That time of year again...

The Christmas preview Eve is done and dusted for another year- A great hit again-phew!!! Now we have all the goodies in the shop and in preparations for Wreath making workshops, endless wreath making and Christmas in floral terms. That Season is now among us!
I was stuck down by a lurgy the day after the preview not got over it yet!
We are traipsing up and down the land looking at Uni's for Poppy - wish I could go again! A gap year?? NO chance!! Sigh! Makes one feel their age!! Sign again!! Hey, ho.

The barn walls have been painted by a friend (he had a gun- spray one I mean!)

End of the season..

 What way on end the garden season- with a big colour BANG!!
Always a sad time as I shall miss these beauties when the first frost hits.
I have felt frustrated with the garden this year on the one hand as I wish I had more time to indulge yet
 on another it has given me so much pleasure and a welcome break from other duties.
The Garden is my true home.
