Im bad!!
Flowers for a photo shoot this week.
I do realise I'm totally hopeless at writing engaging, descriptive long blogs. Sorry and all, writing is not my forte - I'm better with an image anyway, but perhaps that's not enough, I hear you cry, so I shall try and be a bit more forthcoming in my next blogs, but do bare with me!
I did nearly through in the towel, before my holiday, I was exhausted , I can see that now. Trouble with working for yourself, you try and do it all.
Today I went with my pal, Graham Rice ( the brilliantly talented garden author , that gives me a nudge in the right direction when I need it) to a huge nursery that produces small plants for the wholesaler and introduces some new varieties. I'm lucky that some interesting new (some not even out yet) plant varieties come my way and I grow them and get Graham to photograph them and we check how they hold up to vase life. This is one of the exciting things in my job. We looked at trials of lots of plants today. I love these Salivas - I adore Saliva's for their long flowering power and some have incredible blackcurrant scented leaves . Graham lives in the US and pops back for work and family a few times a year, so it's always good to catch up.

This weekends wedding...
Poppy amongst the flowers.
Having returned from a very relaxing holiday I felt very chilled doing this wedding.
I'm glad they had Summer weather for this wedding.
The organist was at the church practising, very atmospheric, arranging the flowers.
