Trifle bowls, pale blue bottles and jelly moulds- all for sale .

Were a few of the finds on our hunt this week. My Hubie ,Rick, came with me and drove the van we hired . He was a great help lugging all the tables etc. When you get up at 5 .am and drive in the dark ,wait in the cold ,you wonder `why are we doing this??` Rummaging around discovering treasures always makes up for it. Beats the crowds in shopping centres any day!!

Hidden treasures...

I found this old scrapbook in our barn today-I had wondered where it was for a long time. I loved looking at it as a child. My Dad and his sisters made it when they were young .

I feel the need....

For some sunshine ,we have had grey skies for days now. I'm not very good in Winter,think I have SAD? I'm dreaming of sunnier climates. Last January we went to Marrakesh, we may return? Need something to get me through winter. Id go now but I think I may need to be in the shop ?? I shall have to wait till January ,maybe???

Ahh, nothing like it, sitting by a roaring fire. The fog stayed with us all day yesterday,so put paid to plans of a merry day pottering in the garden. I have two sick children , Flynn is off school with a persistent cough . Poppy is feeling very grotty but has her drama GCSE exam today ,so she has to solider on. Ede just has an easy life!!
