Visiting friends houses -This dresser belongs to Fiona who can never resist a pretty vintage find . She is starting a blog soon I will keep you posted.
This is Sharon and Geoff`s house in Lincoln shire -a very old cottage with lots of vintage style. The lovely dog is Ben.

Sue Kirk - willow weaver . Sue grows most of the willow herself to make her well crafted baskets and sculptures(iv asked her if she can make a Whippet sculpture!!)

Like old times, as i used to share a stall with Sue on Oundle Farmers market ,many moons ago. Loved being on the market, but remembered how the wind blows over flowers and is a real pain! Sue has a horse, called Elvis and cart she walks fron Kingscliffe (takes her 3hours)

British vodka, whisky, gin and beers

Bunny Guinness- Gardeners question time on Radio 4 and Sunday Telegraph garden column. Had a chance to say `Thank you` for the great piece she wrote about Foxtail in the paper.

Ursula Buchan - Garden writer , I had the pleasure of doing the flowers for her daughters wedding last weekend, nice lady , lovely to work with.

Lovely bread stalls and bread making workshops with Dan Lepard

Oundle Transition Town Group- had a plant swap stall

They have formed five groups to work on aspects of local life from local food and produce to energy saving etc. check out the website http://www.oundletransition.org.uk/

A very warm summer wedding!

Table flowers made up in the cool barn. The flowers went into the marque at the very last minute to stay cool. I don't know if the guests did?
Bridesmaids flowers

Flowers in teacups

Warm work at the weekend! Everything takes so much longer to do in the heat. The flowers were very well behaved and did as they were told ! No wilting.
