While my hubbie is away climbing in Italy (humph) I'm busy painting my son`s room,as we have had the builders in. (I'm plotting a late escape to some where sunny!!) Planning when to open the garden for the NGS next year and waiting for the farmer to plough my cutting patch.

Hydrangea's by the bucket full / hat full!!
Gone from Sweet peas to Dahlias -just like that!!

Summer time-for lazing around.

Goodbye, old friend

Flowers to look like your garden-wild and natural and some picked from yours and mine.
Very sad, but lovely how several of us told how she had taught us alot about gardening and plants (I looked at some she had given me in the garden and they will remind me of her kindness) She was always smiling and even through her disability `got on with life` without moaning. What a wonderful talent to have had. Made me ponder on what impressions to leave life-to be kind and pass on enthusiasm and love would be a lasting wish. XXX
