Sunday

This is how it should have looked! The weather was not kind for our open day but thank you to all that were kind and supported us . They braved endless rain and sat and had tea and cake ( wonderful cake it was too!!) We Gardeners put up with what ever the British weather throws at us -well we wouldn't do anything if we didn't!
For all of you not able to come last Sunday we are open this coming Sunday -June 1st for Oundle Open Gardens. 20 gardens open in all.
I shall keep you posted on how much we raised for Thorpe hall hospice.

purple sensation!

Alliums add a zing to the garden fantastic with Euphorbias!

British flowers promotion

I went to Covent Garden flower market last week, Sarah Raven was there promoting British flowers. Some London florists gave demos too. I brought some of these lovely scented pinks for the shop.
I would not only like to buy British flowers but would love to buy from local growers , people who have allotments or big gardens and have spare flowers . I still am growing alot of my flowers but would be fantastic to have all local flowers!
Please call me if you are a grower in my area.

My favourite place!

When I'm not in the shop or busy in the garden , this is where you will find me . The most relaxing thing to do reading a book or snoozing in the hammock!!
By the way , the skeleton is of a wild boar, it was an xmas prezzie!!! from the science lab of a school.

Walks in the woods

Lovely walks in the evening , in the woods with Ede.

The Bluebells were lovely.
