Day out!!

Went out for a trip to Petersham nursery in Richmond-had an amazing meal -so nice to relax in such inspiring surroundings with the scent of Jasmine as we eat .

Sorry not been posting much-been so hectic in the shop-could be the time of year???

Christmas candles and fairs

The candles in tins are flying out the door. I had to order yet another batch this week . Cinnamon and orange is the best seller at the mo , followed by Christmas spice .

Well that was the last last outside sale-phew . I have decided to not do anymore and stay in the shop next year . Apart from feeling that you should be in two places at once, the unloading then more unloading . Glad i have ruled that one out.

Ede and Tilly -well , a turn up for the books!! Tilly has never been keen shall we say at Ede`s arrival and has took to swiping Ede on the nose whenever she is too close so this was a surprise they even went to sleep later. Both just want to be on Poppy`s bed , um so cosy when the warm winter sun shines in.

Lifes ups and downs

A lovely lady came into the shop , we had a wonderful chat . She came back the next day saying how she so enjoyed the shop and gave me some lovely stewed plums with cinnamon-so yummy, many thank`s

The downs- well Ede the little madame has been chewing the TV remote we now only get BBC1 (thank god-so we can see strickley!!) and channel 4.

She broke one of my best bowls id been given when Poppy was born . She has taken to barking allot -for a full 35Min's this morning , when sniffing the air, something in the wind!!!

The ups- Off buying tom , getting lots of vintage goodies-i shall post my finds!
